History

Patone Cellars is a rustic Italian style winery located in Landenberg, Pennsylvania. Our winemaker is dedicated to making European style with local grapes. Winemaking in the Patone family can be traced back to Abruzzi Italy where grapes were harvested throughout the region to produce wine for family and commerce. Mario Patone decided to continue the family winemaking tradition when he founded Patone Cellars, a boutique winery, during the summer of 2006. Merging modern techniques with traditional European methods, the handcrafted wines of Patone Cellars maintain the delicate balance between science and nature to ensure quality and taste. Through the generous support of family and friends, the Patone family winemaking tradition of creating the highest quality wine continues.
